The Care Direct (Salford) is a family based service with its main office situated in Eccles, Salford. We are local to cover all the Salford areas including Worsley, Cadishead, Little Hulton to Higher Broughton.


We provide support to our clients 7 days per week including bank holidays from 8.00am to 10.00pm. Our office is open from 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. There is an out of hours emergency telephone contact. Clients are provided with this on service commencement.

Our service recognises that for most clients, the most important people in our organisation are the Support Workers with whom our clients have regular contact. We take great care in the recruitment, training and supervision of all staff in providing our clients a trust worthy and responsible Support Worker who is able to befriend and develop an effective supportive relationship with our clients.

By having support at home works because more and more people are looking to retain their independence, dignity and to stay at home. It works because we provide Support Workers to the highest standard, special people that can provide a consistent and quality one to one relationship. It works because you have delegated times for when your Support Worker will call on what day and for how many hours they will be with you per day.

Charges and fees
For current up to date hourly rates for Private Support, Direct Payments or Independent Living Fund please call our office where a staff member will be of assistance to answer any questions.

If you have a Social Worker and are accessing services as part of a care package, please speak with your Social Worker / Care Manager about using our service.
